In this updated video we re-introduce our new game-changing combination safety brush and lighting system. Its a quick and relatively inexpensive way to improve both the safety and aesthetics of most escalators and autowalks.
For safety’s sake, let’s make sure escalator passengers can find the stop button in an emergency. In some older units that can be a challenge, so here’s a solution.
Our new power stop and start stations are an excellent safety upgrade for your escalators and auto walks. By placing the Slimline Power Stop station at the top of the escalator handrail newel, it provides passengers with easier access and greater visibility.

KONE Spares has a simple but important tool for determining wear on a step chain sprocket, an important step to complete before you install a new chain. Our own Meghan Ludin explains more in this video:

When it comes to lubricating the components of an elevator or escalator, it’s not a “one size fits all” type situation. Depending on the make, model, and component, each one might take a very specific type of lubricant.
With that in mind our lifecycle engineering team created a guide which specifies what lubricant to use with which component for all the various makes and models we support. Here’s more about it in this video:

Our very own Tara Humlick sums up this week’s focus on safety in this video. Take it away, Tara!
As Natalie says in this video, KONE Spares cast step upgrades are like a “facelift for your escalator.” And we make it as easy for you as possible.
Here’s a quick video about why some elevator and escalator parts are declared obsolete, what we’re doing about it, and how it can help you expand your business.
KONE Spares has a solution for replacing the obsolete KONE V3F16L drives, and that is with the new, more powerful and robust KDL16L drive.

You’d think ordering an elevator button would be simple… but it’s not. The good news is we are here to help!
A surprise to some, MAC Door Equipment is still made and supported, and KONE Spares was, and still is, the original source of MAC.
